LYMPHEDEMA, WHAT IS IT?
Lymphedema is an accumulation (swelling) of protein-rich fluid in any part of the body. It's most common in the arms or legs, but can also occur in the face, the torso, or genital area. If Lymphedema is left untreated it can lead to other health complications. Once a person has this chronic and progression condition, it will not disappear on its own. As of right now, there is no cure, but it is treatable with CDT.
